Ancient plates that carry the power of types.

A Plate is a special item that carries the power of Pokemon Types.

It boosts the power of the holder's damage-dealing moves of the corresponding type, and, if held by Arceus, reacts with its signature ability Multitype, changing Arceus's and its signature move Judgment typing to match the type of the plate.

In battle, a Plate is not affected by moves that remove held items or held item effects, such as Trick, Knock Off, Embargo, and Magic Room.
